The meeting focused on in-depth discussions of the school's 15th Five-Year Plan and annual key tasks for the year, building consensus on development and clarifying the direction for progress.

Sun Cheng, Dean of the college, delivered a comprehensive introduction to the college's 15th Five-Year Plan. He systematically outlined the college's development blueprint for the next five years in terms of development foundation and situation, strategic goals and development ideas, key tasks and reform measures. Sun Cheng pointed out that the 15th Five-Year Plan period is a crucial stage for the college to advance towards world-class disciplines. It is imperative to seize the strategic opportunity of the construction of a strong educational country, respond to the challenges arising from industry transformation, take high-quality development as the main thread, and promote interdisciplinary integration and innovative breakthroughs.

During the discussion session, members of the school’s leading team in charge of various affairs invited discipline representatives to deliver keynote speeches on four topics: talent cultivation, faculty development, scientific research, and international cooperation. Teachers in attendance, based on their practical work experience, conducted an in-depth analysis of existing challenges and actively put forward constructive suggestions.
